Our lab-grown diamonds are chemically, physically and aesthetically identical to mined diamonds.  They are made up of carbon atoms arranged in exactly the same structure you'd find in a mined diamond.  They are 100% carbon, and have all the properties of mined diamonds – the way they sparkle, their hardness,  the individual flaws – because they are in every way, diamonds.  

 

Lab diamonds are grown from the tiny carbon seeds of pre-existing diamonds. Advanced technology – either extreme pressure and heat or a special deposition process – replicates the natural method of diamond formation.

 

Lab grown diamonds go through the same cutting process which includes analyzing the rough, planning, cleaving or sawing,  bruting, polishing, and final inspection.

 

Environment & Social Impact

 

Lab grown diamonds are a responsible choice for environmentally conscious consumers. While it still takes energy to grow the diamonds, there is very little environmental impact with a small carbon footprint. It also creates high-tech jobs with safe working conditions.  

 

When it comes to conflict free, lab grown diamonds provide a traceable point of origin and ensure that no human right violations have taken place in the process of growing, cutting, and distributing.   

 

Certification

 

Our lab grown diamonds have been graded by an independent third party. Every one of our diamonds are laser inscribed ”Lab Grown” on the girdle of the diamond.  The majority of our lab grown diamonds also come with the diamonds original independent grading certificate.
